Making the Wholewheat Chocolate Coffee Cake
Preheat your oven to 180 deg C. Grease your cake pan and line it with butter paper or parchment paper. Sift both cocoa powder, flour in a bowl (both wheat and maida). To this add baking powder and baking soda along with a pinch of salt and mix it. In a separate bowl, beat curd till it is smooth and add the powdered sugar and mix well. Then add the vanilla essence and the oil and mix well. In another bowl m
ix instant coffee powder and four tablespoons warm water, till all the coffee powder gets incorporated well add this to the curd. Then slowly incorporate this curd mix with the flour mix. Pour this batter into your greased pan for 55 minutes. Once baked let it cool.

To make the chocolate sauce, melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler, then add milk and butter and mix well to get that shiny chocolate sauce. Lather your cake with this sauce and garnish it with fresh strawberries! Bon Appetit!
